Book Character Parade

Mrs Myers was the lion from the Wizard of Oz and Mrs McLaughlin was Strawberry Shortcake.

Clifford came to visit us.

During Book Week, we had a book character parade. Some of the children and some of the teachers dressed up as their favourite book character. Keira won 2nd best dressed girl for the Year One's and got to go up on stage.

Safe Walking

Constable Viv came and talked to us about safe walking.  We learnt about sneaky driveways, the names of different parts of the road and different road signs.  One day we learnt how to cross Constable Viv's inside road, then we practised crossing the zebra crossing outside our school with the road patrollers.
